BAND JOURNAL
Jan. 13-15, 2006 Ski Retreat
This was a different experience. We got to hang out
with local youth while getting the opportunity to rock out with them. We
played the show the first night and then after that we had to follow orders
haha no it was definitely a life changing event. We had a guest speaker who
was totally awesome!!! Let me just say you all better be ready for the
rapture because it's coming fast and there is no time for second guessing!!
Well, I am out for the night! ~Tina
Feb. 25, 2006 Lighthouse
This night was A LOT of fun. We got to open up for two
great bands. By the way....that day was really windy haha I don't know what
made me think of that, but Sarah and I were trying to get our picture taken
in front of the Church sign and were about blown away...ok ok maybe I am
exaggerating just a little bit, but it was VERY WINDY haha. As far as the
show we totally rocked out. It was a lot of fun!! We also met this really
great little boy, this is the reason we do this. We like meeting new people,
but we like witnessing and spreading our faith to everyone. This little boy
was so precious and made my heart go out to him. I hope that every show we
go to can bring just as many precious people into our lives.
God bless you all ~Tina
March 22, 2006 Word of Life Ministries
This was a different show. It was for a youth group,
but it was like the biggest youth group I have ever seen haha!! It was a lot
of fun. The people had a lot of energy, that is always good. It is fun to
rock out with people like YOU!!!
Later ~Tina
March 24, 2006 Apollo Idol
Ok, this was not your typical show...but we totally
rocked anyways haha!! We were involved in a talent show and were in the top
5 out of about 20 acts. It was a different experience, I don't know if I am
cut out to do the competition thing, but eh it was to raise money for their
students to be able to have a prom!! I hope that their prom was loads of
fun!!
Dance the night away ~ Tina
April 28, 2006 Covenant New Life Church
This was a really fun show!! It was a long drive.
There were a lot of young people because it was a lock in...who doesn't love
a lock in haha?! There were several bands and we were just all having fun
and rocking out for Christ.
God bless ~Tina
May 6, 2006 The Loft
When we finally got to State College haha we got to
open up for a really great band called Down to One. They were filled with
the Holy Spirit and that is so much fun to meet other bands that are doing
what we are doing and trying to reach as many people as they can for Christ.
I hope that when you all see us that you see Christ not only in our songs,
but in our actions and attitudes!!
God Bless ~Tina
June 10, 2006 Mustard Seed
We absolutely love playing here. We are always
welcomed with open arms...Literally haha!! They always give us FREE FOOD,
which is a bonus for me since I LOVE FOOD!!! This is a really neat coffee
house and I can't wait to go back up there again and play!! We got the
opportunity to play DDR before our show....I love DDR haha I totally
DOMINATE!!! Well, if anyone wants to challenge me....Bring It On haha just
picking!!
DDR QUEEN ~Tina
June 17, 2006 One Truth Rock Festival
This was an all day event and tons of fun!! We got the
chance to hang out with Olivia the Band, these guys are so much fun and
really God-filled I love them so much!! They are also really funny haha!!! I
feel honored to know that they had reservations to go out to dinner, but
chose to stay and watch our band since they told us they would....this is a
once in a lifetime opportunity. They also gave us some advice that we can
use to improve ourselves as a band. Thanks goes out to Olivia the Band.
There were about 8 other bands...everybody competely rocked out for Christ
and that is always the best!! I hope that we can do another festival like
this again!!
Rocking out in Christ ~Tina
July 23, 2006 Gilgal
We played here on a very very very extremely hot day!!
It was a neat little show. We played after Lauren Iandiorio played praise
and worship. It was a nice family event. It was a more personal show I
enjoyed it a lot.
Aug. 12, 2006 Rock Solid
Rocking out with Apologetix was unforgettable those
guys are so much fun!! We had a blast during this show. It was a beautiful
day and nice and warm. There were lots of bands, it was an all day event.
The bands were all very good. We got our own dressing room I thought that
that was pretty awesome.....our own room we are stars haha just joking. They
treated very nice and I felt very welcomed. I loved this show and wish we
could have another show like it really soon.
Enjoying Life ~ Tina
Sept. 16, 2006 Big Run Community Picnic
This was a neat show because it was Tim's first show.
It was a lot of fun. We went and were all nervous because we didn't know how
it was going to go....we practiced plenty of times but you never know what
the first show is going to be like. It turned out really well and we also
got FREE FOOD haha...like I said earlier Free Food is the best haha!! It was
a nice day and a great show!!
God Bless ~Tina
Sept. 30, 2006 Rock of Ages
This show was a lot of fun. We got to play with
several good bands. It was a neat show because it was pouring down rain, but
when our band went on the sun shown....it was like God was smiling down on
us haha it was awesome!! We got to hang out with The Rented Bodies are
really good friends from Kittanning, they are always a lot of fun!! We also
got to meet some really cool people here and they have continued to support
us which is totally rocking!! I hope that they will continue to support and
pray for us!!
In His Love ~Tina
Oct. 21, First Church of God (in a tent)
You may be wondering what I mean when I put in a
tent....well this church was in the process of being put into a new location
so they were temporarily having church services in a tent haha but you know
what it doesn't matter where the church service is because where two or more
are gathered He is there!! He was definitely at the show. We played that
night with The Rented Bodies, it was a lot of fun. It was really cold, but
there was a bonfire. When we first got there I didn't feel good at all. But,
fortunately for me Dennis and J-red from The Rented Bodies (my brothers)
went to a store and bought me some Pepto...and after like 10 minutes I felt
better haha I think I just did a commercial, but oh well!! This show was
tons of fun!!
Thanks ~Tina
Dec. 16, 2006 Chapel of Hope
This show was really special because it was at Sarah
and I's church. I enjoyed it a lot. We had a good turn out and Lauren played
some praise and worship and did amazingly like she always does because she
is so in love with Christ that it shines through. We also had a few members
of The Rented Bodies grace us with their presence. I loved playing this
show, it was really neat because even though it was at our church there were
people from all over the community and some I never even saw before. I love
meeting new people. God has a way of just amazing me every day!!
God's Amazing Love ~Tina
Dec. 31, 2006 New Years Eve at the Indiana
Skating Center
FUN FUN FUN, this show was so much fun. It was an all
night event...well at least for me haha!! We played along with The Rented
Bodies and Lauren. We all had a blast. It wasn't a very formal show, but it
was a lot of fun. There were lots of people there and it was great getting
to witness to some of them. It was neat because while we were playing people
could be skating. I remember that at one point a bunch of us were jumping so
much that my sides were aching, but I guess that's what you get when you are
enjoying yourself too much haha!! I hope that we get to do this again next
year and if we do you all better come out ;-)
Happy New Year ~Tina
Feb. 17, 2007 Loft Coffee House
This was the first show of the year. It was really
neat we got to open up for a really cool band. We got to hang out a little
with them. This coffee house is in State College this is the second time
that we have been here and everytime it is a lot of fun. God does things and
brings people into our lives everyday, it is just up to us to use these
opportunities. We met this really cool young man who just recently committed
his life to Christ. I hope that he never gives up and continues doing what
he knows is right. You are strong, but God is stronger..when things get
tough, toughen your faith. God will never let you down and He is always
there!! Trust me, I wouldn't lie to you :-)
In His Service ~Tina
March 10, 2007 Ohio Mustard Seed Cafe
Hour after hour we travel to get to our next
destination, Ohio. It wasn't that bad, it was a very uneventful trip which
is always good. God had His hand on us during that trip. The show itself was
a lot of fun, we totally rocked out. It was a really great trip because we
got to meet up with our really old friend, Chris. He has always been
supportive of our band and a really good friend. I want to thank him for
coming out and hanging out with us. We also got to eat at Cracker Barrel I
don't know if any of you have ever been there, but it is really good....good
old homestyle southern cooking!! I love it haha!! We got to Ohio really
early so we were wasting time walking around a Wal-Mart, I think it was in
Dayton. It was the BIGGEST Wal-Mart I have ever seen or been in. It was
GIGANTIC....I don't know why. That trip was so much fun. Timmy in the front
seat...all to himself what was up with that haha just picking on the way
home I got a seat all to myself, but it wasn't really by choice. I was sick,
but it's ok because I really felt that God was there during that trip and
while we were playing. After the show we met this really great man who just
recently committed his life to Christ and he was sharing his testimony. It
was amazing to hear what he went through and how he found God. I hope that
if you ever need anything that you would contact us so that we can pray for
you. Sometimes things happen and we don't know why, but God has a reason and
plan for you life. I thank God that we were able to play that show. That man
is an example of why we do what we do. We couldn't do any of this if it
weren't for God and the abilities that He has given to us.
Are we there yet? ~Tina
December 31, 2005 News Years Eve Skate Night
When we first got to the skating rink we had to do a
sound check and make sure everything was right. After that we got to hang out
and skate until our time to play. As we were walking on to the "stage" for
the show Sarah and I turned around and saw our friend Marty, we were walking
over to say hello and right before our eyes dun dun ta daaaaaaaaaaa!!!! there
was WESLEY BOGGS, our really good friend from TENN. He is such an awesome
person. The night went so nice. After we played we got a few minutes break and
then we had to do worship with our good friend and band photographer Lauren
Iandiorio. She lead and we were back up, but it was sounded so good. God was
there and I believe He was Blessing People. After a few hours of skating and
jamming we went to my house for my 21st Birthday. Ok I am going to make a
confession on here..........
Love in Christ,
Beanie

December 29, 2005 - Greenville Mustard Seed Jam House
The show went nicely. It is such a coolplace to
play at because it is in the basement of some building, but there is tons
of furniture and a lot of GUMMY WORMS!! There was both sour and sweet worms.
It was great. The guys in charge of the place, sorry I am horrible with names,
are awseome and made us feel right at home. We played really well. We were
still a little bit tired from the night before and also the drive down sort of
took my energy. Would you believe we had to take Interestate 79 again.
GRRRRRRRR AGGGGHHHHHHH

December 28, 2005- MARS, PA
Hello everyone this is Beanie. Okay the only thing I
have to say is I hate driving on Interstate 79 hahaha that's only because we
got lost for about half an hour and we were driving around aimlessly, because
no one knew where we were going. It wasn't until I said ooooooooooo I think I
saw a sign for Mars, that we actually turned around and maybe just maybe then
we had our destination. Well, we showed up about 20 minutes late. I was
soooooooo embarassed,
Love in Christ,
Beanie
December 28th- Mars CMA Church Lock-In
Hey this is Sarah.. So im here 2 tell you all about
the Mars show. Well we got directions but good ol' mr.i thought of a way
that might be faster.. So we did not rush!! (( and we were late!!!)) haha we
got lost we couldnt find the exit... Our buddy Nick from the State of
Indiana was there 2 cheer us on.. and hang out with us it was a blast. Well
we were supposed to be the first band on.. but that didnt happen. It took
about 1.5 hours to get there.. and we werent sure if we were going 2 be
allowed 2 play.. But they were cool about it and threw us on second. There
were 4 other bands there... I dont remember all the bands name.. They all
rocked out hard.. and they were equally good. The band Second Solution
rocked our faces off tho!! Those guys were so awesome.. and the drummer was
the lead singer... i thought that was the coolest!! He was the only singer
and he rocked hard on the drums... impossible!? i know.. i have a hard
enough time playing the guitar and singing hah... anyway.. they were the
last band.. and they asked tina and i to help them sing their last song a
cover it was so funny... they actually moshed.. it was cool! Well we left
and got home real late... and didnt get much sleep for our show the next
day!

October 14,2005 Clarion University
Hello Silver Halo fans!
Alycia here, just dropping a message about our show in Clarion Pa. A very
special show to me not only because it was my first with the band, but my
parents graduated from Clarion University.
This was a benefit concert put on by Clarion's Campus Crusade for Christ and
the Red Cross for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Our performances rocked. A huge thank you goes out to everyone that made the
concert a success including the bands....Poetic Disciples and Shudder. They
are very talented individuals.
My favorite part though, had to be when my mom bought some homemade
cookies and sweets which were delicious. (mmmm, I could go for some
peanutbutter fudge right now)
Thanks to everyone that attended, check out our show page to see where we are
playing next.... and I hope to see YOU there!
Alycia
September 17, 2005 Greenville Pa Mustard Seed Jam Coffee House
Helloooooooooo......Greenville............FAR, FAR AWAY. It seemed to take
forever to get there .
The Show was in a basement of a building they turned it into a coffee
house... The show went pretty well. We tried a new song without even
practicing it except for like 5 minutes before the show started .It was ok.
We had alot of fun hanging out with everyone playing ddr and
listening to music and talking. We love hanging out with everyone. I'll
catch you all later.
Your friend ,
Beanie
Calvary Church September 10, 2005
Hey Ya'll just checking in with you letting you know how September 10
went. It was a fun show. We played with The Rented Bodies, those guys are
fantastic we love to play with them, they are great guys. It was an outside
show at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Indiana. I don't like some outside
shows, they don't seem to go as well. It was bad when my voice CRACKED it
was so embarrassing. After the show The two bands along with some
friends went to Eat-n-Park. It was fun......Umm I am noticing
something.....food is a very common thing with our band hehe
Beanie aka Tina

Center opened for: Willis, Clearview and STARFIELD:
Heyyy everyone,
What is up? Sarah from the Silver
Halos. So today was awesome we got to hang out with some really cool bands. In
the morning we went to a church service.. some really cool kids did dancing
and plays. Then Starfield did the praise and worship (very cool) well after
the service we all got changed and waited for the FOOD to cook! (haha MMM) We
played games with Starfield... tossed the football. When the food was ready we
all stuffed our faces and then Clearview came. We met all of them then it was
sound checks. First Starfield went then Clearview then Willis and then we went
on. We were sooo pumped we were ready to rock Penn Run's socks OFF! Jon (John)
I'm not sure how he spells his name but the lead guitarist from Starfield
supported us in wearing our shirt during their show (woo) JESSIE= the coolest
guy in the world. He gave us some pointers he really helped us! Thanks
